LACES is a full magnet school and all student wishing to enroll in our school must apply through the Choices application. The application window for the 2024-2025 school year will open on October 1, 2024 and close on November 15, 2024.

Parents whose children are currently enrolled in LAUSD schools can sign up now for an online account at: https://parentportal.lausd.net.You will use your Parent Portal account to sign in to the CHOICES online application starting Friday, October 1.Parents of pre-kindergarten, charter schools, and private school residents of LAUSD will also be able to apply online starting October 1.
** LACES will have about 190 openings for the incoming 6th-grade class**
Openings for the upper-grade levels (7th - 10th) will depend on the number of non-returning students.
Please note that this number averages between 3-15 openings each year per grade level.
